Welcome to the Cameron High School Agricultural Education Program
The following set of guidelines has been developed to improve the educational flow, here at Cameron High School, in the Agricultural Educational Department. These guidelines are expected to be followed by all students at all times throughout the 2009-2010 school year.
All students are expected to follow the Cameron R-1 school board policies set forth by our administration and elected board members at all times. (Read your student planner if you have any questions and/or need any clarifications as to said policies.)
All students will be on time to class every day. Your instructor is well aware of the location of the agricultural building or classroom and you can get to class on time!!! (If you are going to be late bring a pass.)
Every student must have his or her own Ag. notebook, clean writing paper that fits neatly in the notebook and a pencil only ready for class every day. (Notebooks and a place to house them will be provided by the Ag-Ed department at the beginning of each semester.)
All work in the notebook, for grading purposes, must be yours and yours alone. NO PHOTOCOPIES of others work/lessons will be accepted. (A lost notebook is your fault/responsibility and must be reconstructed if you expect it to be graded.)
Student s are to place their first and last name, correct date, and class hour in the upper right hand corner of their assignments when they are turned in. (No name papers will be trashed!!!)
All assignments are to be turned in on time and in the proper place to receive full credit. If you are absent it is your responsibility to see the work is made up and turned in. (This is to be done on your own time, before or after school, with instructor’s approval.)
Disruptive behavior takes away from class time and will not be tolerated. (IE excessive and/or loud talking, movement in and around the classroom, visiting with your neighbor, acting silly, etc. will not be allowed.)
No food or drinks will be allowed without the direct permission of the instructor in charge.
Safety will be strictly enforced at all times in the AG building and on activities sponsored by this program. (if you are not sure don’t do it)
Respect, reason, courtesy and responsibility are the rules of the day for every student in the AG-ED program here at Cameron High School.
